Principal Diana Leal

Mrs. Diana Leal is a proud graduate of O.W. Holmes High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University. She began her educational career at Walzem Elementary, where she taught for 10 years before serving as the Assistant Principal at Woodstone Elementary for seven years and later at Colonial Hills Elementary for one year. Mrs. Leal is now honored to serve as the Principal of the amazing Woodstone Elementary School.

Married to her husband Rick, Mrs. Leal enjoys spending her weekends with family and friends in Rockport, where she loves playing her guitar, wade fishing, and occasionally entering fishing tournaments. She is also a proud mother to her daughter, Marissa, who has followed in her footsteps and become a teacher.

Mrs. Leal is passionate about the students, staff, families, and community of Woodstone. She believes that anything is possible when we all work together as one school community to help every child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. At Woodstone, she lives by the motto: “One Team, One Dream… Student Success!”

Title IX Coordinator & Campus Behavior Coordinator

The Title IX Coordinator/Campus Behavior Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining student discipline and the implementation of this subchapter and for responding to all complaints of possible sex discrimination and coordinating proper responses to complaints.

Assistant Principal Robyn Bandy

Mrs. Bandy is excited to serve the Woodstone Elementary community and is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside an outstanding team of students, parents, teachers, and staff. She believes that strong partnerships, open communication, and a shared commitment to excellence are the foundation for promoting student success and creating a positive learning environment for every child.

Mrs. Bandy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University before completing both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

The 2026–2027 school year marks Mrs. Bandy's 15th year in education. She spent 10 years teaching at Wood Middle School and is now beginning her second year as Assistant Principal at Woodstone Elementary.

Mrs. Bandy is honored to be part of the Woodstone family and looks forward to another year of learning, growth, and celebrating the achievements of the students, staff, and community. One Team, One Dream... Student Success!
